We need your help to raise essential funds to support the ongoing operational expenses of the Inuka Tusonge vocational centre for vulnerable women in Tanzania.

From forests bursting with wildflowers to vast beaches sandwiched by towering sand dunes and irresistibly blue water this will be a great way to blow away the winter blues and maybe if we are lucky we can spot a whale or two on the way!

The Tomaree Coastal Walk is a stunning 27km hike located on on Worimi Country. You traverse through forests bursting with wildflowers to vast beaches sandwiched by towering sand dunes, and irresistibly blue water.

This is Grade 4 walk is located in Port Stephens, just 2.5 hours north of Sydney on the NSW coast.

Highlights include: Ancient volcanic landscapes | rich Aboriginal heritage | panoramic ocean views | sand dunes and dolphins and migrating whales

We acknowledge that this adventure is located on the traditional Country of the Worimi people, who have occupied and cared for the lands, waters, and their inhabitants for thousands of years. We pay our respects to them as the Traditional Custodians and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.


Day 1: Friday 27/8 - Arrival Day

Today you will make your way from your home State to Port Stephens located 3 hours drive from Sydney or half hour from Newcastle airport.

Accommodation: Proposed - Shoal bay caravan park (Cabins) in the heart of Port Stephens.

Day 2: Saturday 28/8 - Hike 18km (5-6 Hours)

Starts at: The end of Shoal Bay Road near the Zenith Beach car park in Tomaree National Park, Shoal Bay.
 
Accommodation: One Mile Beach - Accommodation to be confirmed

Day 3: Sunday 29/8 Hike 9km (3-4 Hours)

Ends at: Birubi Point, Anna Bay
